Details and purpose of the data processing

Spryker uses a platform offered by Consensus Sales LLC to streamline the creation and delivery of video based demos (“Consensus”).

When Spryker shares a demo with you via Consensus, Spryker uses the following personal data in order to get you access to the demo:

  • your full name,
  • the company you work for,
  • your email address, and
  • your job title.

If you watch the demo via Consensus, Spryker will be able to track if you opened the demo, interacted with it or forwarded it to others.

Legal basis for the processing of personal data

The processing of personal data described above is based on Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR. Spryker believes it is in the legitimate interest of Spryker as well as you and your company, that you and all people who make a decision in the buying process have the chance to see in a demo how the product works that your company is about to buy.

Recipients of the personal data

  • Consensus Sales LLC, which we use as our service provider
  • Spryker’s affiliates to the extent that is required for the opportunity we are discussing with you
  • authorities if needed

Data transfer to third country

If data is transferred to a third country, Spryker relies on the receiving company being certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or uses standard contractual clauses to protect such transfer.

Data retention

Personal data is deleted in case it is not needed anymore for the abovementioned purpose and there is no legal obligation to retain personal data.

With regard to the need to store the data, Spryker distinguishes between opportunities with you that have led to a deal being concluded (throughout the time of the contractual relationship and related limitation periods thereafter) and others that did not (six months after the last contact).
